Introduction

Silo is an on-demand, remote, disposable browsing environment that executes browser code without taxing or exposing local resources. The ability to import and export bookmarks allows users to transfer their local bookmarks into Silo for use or to export bookmarks generated in Silo for storage elsewhere.

Technical Requirements

  1. File Transfer Permissions: Ensure you have permission to upload and download files within Silo. Administrators can restrict upload/download activity, so verify that these options are enabled according to your organization's file transfer policy.
  2. Storage Access: Access to a Temporary, Pooled, or Personal storage space is required to import bookmarks.

Bookmarks Source

Silo supports the HTML bookmarks format. The process for generating this type of bookmark file varies between browsers. Please consult your browser's documentation for export instructions.
