Introduction

The Silo platform automatically generates a temporary, one-time-use password for all new accounts during account creation. To access the application, users will need to receive this temporary password from the Silo Administrator.



Steps

  1. Open the Admin Console.
  2. Under Users & Orgs section, click the Manage button.



    3.  From the User List, find the user and double-click their record to display the user's details on the right side of the console.

    4.  Copy the Temporary Password and provide it to the user in a secure manner.




Additional Details

The temporary Password is never emailed to the user. The Silo Administrator will be required to provide the temporary password from the Admin Console to them in order to log into their account.


When accessing the application for the first time, the user will enter their username and will be prompted to input the temporary password. Shortly after the temporary password is accepted, the user will be able to create their own numeric PIN for subsequent access to the application.
